Opening a file (without Seald)

If you have Seald installed on your computer, follow the steps Opening a file (with Seald).

To open the file when you do not have Seald installed, double click on the Seald file, the file is opened in your browser (if not, select a browser as the application to open the Seald file) and follow the authentication steps.

To open a Seald file with the Edge browser, go to Seald Secure Reader and drag and drop your Seald file.

List of previewable file formats

To preview an encrypted file without installing Seald, the format of the file to be decrypted must be one of the following list:

• .docx
• .doc
• .xlsx
• .xls
• .pptx
• .ppt
• .txt
• .seald_mail
• .jpg
• .jpeg
• .png
• .gif
